Form A habit Terms of Use

Welcome to Form A habit (named TimeScale inside the app; “the app”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Service Description

The app is a completely free, local-first iOS time-management and habit-building tool that helps you track time, build habits, reach goals, and understand where your time goes through charts and insights. The app requires no account, has no in-app purchases, and no subscription.

2. Your Data Is Yours

All content you create in the app (habits, goals, time records, notes, and so on) belongs to you and is stored on your device by default. We claim no rights over your content. The app’s interface, branding, icons, and underlying technology belong to the Form A habit team.

3. Backups & Responsibility

The app is local-first. You are responsible for safeguarding your own device and data; to keep data across devices or guard against loss, we recommend enabling iCloud backup. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss resulting from lost or damaged devices, system failures, or your own deletion.

4. Fees

The app is currently provided entirely free of charge, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions. The app does not charge you any fees and does not sell any goods or services within the app.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the app within the bounds of applicable law. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to compromise the security or normal operation of the app.

6. Changes & Termination

We reserve the right to improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time. We will try to communicate material changes through app updates.

7. Disclaimer

The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for your particular purpose. The statistics and insights the app provides are for personal reference only and do not constitute medical, health, or professional advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.
