Track your time Build your habits Hit your goals — all in one app

Form A habit puts time tracking, habit check-ins, and goal management in a single app. Because it holds your time, habit, and goal data together, it can surface connected insights that single-purpose apps simply can't. Everything stays on your device — no sign-up, no login.

What's live today

Five core capabilities that chain record time → build habits → hit goals → see the insight.

Live

Habit check-ins & streaks

Set a daily, weekday, or custom-weekday schedule and up to 3 reminders per habit. Check in with one tap from the list, and watch a GitHub-style heatmap and streak count make consistency visible.

Live

Goals with visible progress

Set goals over weekly, monthly, or custom periods, tracked in units like times, minutes, hours, kilometers, pages, cups, or items. A progress ring plus achieved / exceeded markers emphasize what you completed, not a cold percentage.

Live

Time tracking with crash recovery

Track time by category — starting a new timer automatically stops any running one. If the app is killed in the background or runs over a threshold, the next launch lets you recover: continue, fix the end time, or discard.

Live

Connected insights (the moat)

See all three data types on one screen: active habits, active goals, this week's entries and total time, then drill into time / habit / goal analysis. Cross-linking your data is an insight single-purpose apps can't give you.

Live

Charts & period analysis

Weekly reports (daily bars + category donut + top rankings), an interactive hourly donut, ring / grid / streak-bar views for habits, and multi-period comparisons — data is the hero, charts are clear and drillable.

Live

Local-first with optional iCloud backup

All data is stored on your device with SwiftData — no account, never uploaded to our servers. Need it across devices? Optionally turn on iCloud backup, which goes only to your own iCloud.

Three steps, time into insight

No sign-up needed — just open and go. Five tabs cover Habits, Goals, Time, Insights, and Settings.

1

Record your time and routines

Start a timer by category to track time, tap to check in your daily habits, and log progress toward your goals by period. It's all local, instant.

2

Stay consistent, see your progress

Streaks, heatmaps, progress rings, and achievement markers turn consistency into positive momentum. Miss a day without being shamed; completed states give you a green reward.

3

See where your time really goes

The insights dashboard summarizes all three data types at a glance. Weekly reports and charts reveal distribution and trends, while connected insights tell you when you focus best and which habits make your goals easier to reach.

Frequently asked

1. Does this app cost anything?

No. Form A habit is completely free — no in-app purchases, no subscription, and no paywall. Every feature is open to everyone.

2. Do I need to register or log in?

No. The app has no account system — just open and go. Your habits, goals, and time records all live on your device, and we never ask for your name, email, or any login.

3. Where is my data stored? Is it uploaded?

Your habits, goals, and time records are stored on your device with SwiftData, and we do not upload that content to our servers. If you choose to enable iCloud backup, the data syncs to your own iCloud account for cross-device backup and restore — still never through our servers.
